Job summary

Meridian Senior Living is seeking a Dietary Aide to support our dining services team. You will set and buss tables, wash dishes, assist the cook, and maintain clean work areas while delivering friendly service to residents and staff.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (or equivalent) and a willingness to obtain a Food Handlers Permit as required by state regulations. Prior food service experience and compassion for the elderly are valued in our team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain Food Handlers Permit as required by state regulations.
• Six (6) months’ prior experience in a food service department preferred.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Must demonstrate the ability to work as a team member as well as an individual.
• Honesty, fairness, dependability, and respect for confidentiality and privacy.

Responsibilities

• Setting tables and bussing tables.
• Washing dishes and assisting the cook as needed.
• Completing cleaning duties.
• Providing excellent customer service to residents and external customers.

Details about the Dietary Aide position we are hiring for:

As a Dietary Aide, you will work closely with our dining services team. Responsible for setting tables, bussing tables, washing dishes, assisting the cook as needed, completing cleaning duties and providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess all required licenses and/or certifications if required by State licensing authority and maintain continuing education requirements.
• Six (6) months’ prior experience in a food service department preferred.
