Job summary

Ashby Ponds by Erickson Senior Living is hiring Dietary Aides / Dining Server to join a calm, team-based dining program serving the same residents daily. You’ll help with prep, stocking, serving, and cleanup to ensure residents receive balanced meals and a positive dining experience.

This part-time role offers meaningful impact in a supportive community. Compensation ranges from $16.00 to $18.00 per hour with a possible sign-on bonus; shifts typically run 11:30 am–8:00 pm with benefits including

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months in a food service environment preferred, but training is available.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome residents at the restaurant entrance.
• Coordinate with seaters and servers to ensure smooth service.
• Assist with preparation, stocking, serving, and post-meal cleanup.
• Help residents receive adequate nutritional intake.
• Answer calls professionally and handle requests.
• Maintain front-of-house and kitchen sanitation.
• Assist in training wait staff.

We’re hiring Dietary Aides / Dining Server at a senior living community in Ashburn where dining is about more than food—it’s about care, consistency, and connection.

This is not restaurant chaos. It's a structured, team-based role serving the same residents each day in a calm, supportive environment.

Responsible for the overall efficiency of the dining room and pantry; assists with preparation, stocking, serving and post meal clean up of meals and snacks to ensure adequate nutritional intake for all residents. You'll ensure the dining room and pantry run smoothly, supporting our goal of providing a great dining experience.

• Compensation: $16.00 -$18.00 per hour, commensurate with experience plus up to $300 sign on bonus!
• Part time shifts are available with required hours 11:30 am - 8:00 pm

How you will make an impact

• Greet and welcome residents upon their arrival at the restaurant
• Ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant by coordinating with seaters to help servers and kitchen staff work efficiently
• Assist with preparation, stocking, serving, and post-meal clean-up
• Ensure all residents receive adequate nutritional intake
• Answer phones professionally and follow up on requests
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the front of the house and kitchen
• Assist in training the wait staff

What you will need

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a food service environment is preferred, but will train if no experience
• Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Flexible with schedule, available to work some weekends and holidays
