Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow menus, assist with basic food preparation, and help maintain clean dining areas while delivering friendly, respectful service to residents.

Join our team to support healthy meals, adherence to safety standards, and a collaborative work environment. Prior food service experience is welcome but not required; training is provided to new hires.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; not required.
• Experience in food service is welcomed but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• COVID-19 vaccination policies compliance
• Must be able to work around cleaning products.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
