Job summary

The Waters of Roan Highlands is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in meal preparation and dining area setup within our senior healthcare facility. You will follow dietary manager guidance, maintain cleanliness, and ensure safe, timely meal service for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in food-service or healthcare is helpful but not required.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Ability to follow instructions and operate kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables and dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under supervision of dietary manager or cook.
• Follow sanitation and safety procedures consistently.
• Work effectively as part of a team.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods and lifting items.
• Assist in post-meal cleanup by clearing dining areas and collecting plates.
• Maintain hygiene by disposing of leftovers and taking out garbage.
• Keep food stations clean and wash dishes and equipment.
• Monitor ingredient stock levels and inventory.
• Contribute to upkeep of kitchen equipment and appliances.
