Job summary

Mountain Valley Regional Rehabilitation Hospital in Prescott Valley, AZ is seeking a Diet Aide to join our patient-care team. This full-time role supports meal service for patients, visitors, and staff within a modern inpatient facility dedicated to stroke, spinal cord and brain injuries care.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, a Food Handler license, and offers benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401K options.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in serving meals for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Unpack and inspect food stock, prepare, pour, and portion food.
• Deliver meals to patients and maintain sanitary work areas.
• Clean work stations and equipment; wash dishes and utensils.

We are seeking a Diet Aide to join our team of passionate patient caregivers!

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or the equivalent in education or experience required.
• Food Handlers license required.

Responsibilities

Assists in the service of meals for patients, visitors, and staff. Diet Aide may be responsible for any of the following tasks: unpacking and visually inspecting food stock; preparing, pouring, and portioning food; carrying heavy trays, pots, etc.; delivering meals to patients; maintaining sanitary work environment and food handling; cleaning work station area and equipment; washing dishes, pots, silverware, etc. Integrates the hospital’s mission and "Guiding Principles" into daily practice.
