Job summary

Haven Health Safford is seeking a Dietary Aide to support dietary operations under the Dietary Manager. You will stock food items, assist in food prep and storage of unpackaged items, and help prepare, cook and serve therapeutic meals.

You will also help with portion control, report on resident food and beverage consumption, and keep kitchen, dining and utility areas clean and sanitized. English proficiency and the ability to move up to 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Food Handler’s Permit required in the counties served
• Fingerprinting Clearance Card or eligible to obtain
• Background screening, licensure verification (if applicable), reference check, drug testing
• Tuberculosis testing
• Employee health screening after hire
• Ability to move, lift and transfer a minimum of 50 pounds
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English

Description

The Dietary Aide works under the direction of the Dietary Manager and perform a variety of dietary tasks including stocking food items, food prep and storage of unused unpackaged items, preparing, cooking and serving therapeutic meals, assisting in portion control, reporting on resident food and beverage consumption and cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen, dining and utility areas.
