Aventura at Assumption Village is seeking a dependable Dietary Aide/Dishwasher to support kitchen operations. You will help with meal preparation, sanitation, and timely delivery of dishes to residents and staff, while maintaining a clean dining environment.

The role emphasizes adherence to safety standards, teamwork with the dietary manager, and providing a warm dining experience for residents. This is a facility-based position with growth opportunities in food service.

Qualifications

• Requires proven experience as a dietary aide.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines for food service.
• Ability to assist with meal preparation according to instructions and safety standards.
• Friendly demeanor with good communication skills.
• Physical ability to perform duties in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; food service certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under dietary manager or cook supervision.
• Deliver dishes and trays to rooms on time.
• Assist with post-meal cleanup and clearing dining areas.
• Maintain hygiene by disposing of leftovers and taking out garbage.
• Keep food stations and utensils clean; wash dishes and equipment.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory.
• Contribute to upkeep of kitchen equipment.
