Job summary

Aventura Healthcare Group is seeking a Dietary Aide/Dishwasher to support kitchen operations in our Assumption Village facility. You will set up dining areas, assist with meal service, and help with post-meal cleanup to ensure a clean, safe environment.

Ideal candidates have prior dietary aide experience, knowledge of sanitation standards, the ability to follow recipes, and strong communication with staff and residents.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a dietary aide.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines to maintain hygiene.
• Ability to assist with meal preparation according to instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables and dining areas with precision, emphasizing cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under the guidance of a dietary manager or cook, ensuring adherence to instructions and safety standards.
• Deliver dishes and trays promptly to designated rooms and times.
• Assist in post-meal cleanup by clearing dining areas and collecting plates and utensils.
• Maintain hygiene by disposing of leftovers and taking out garbage.
• Keep food stations clean, wash dishes, cooking equipment, and silverware.
• Monitor ingredient stock levels and maintain inventory.
• Contribute to the upkeep of kitchen equipment and appliances.
