Job summary

Birchwood-Terrace-Rehabilitation-and-Healthcar is seeking a Dietary Aide to join the Food Services team. You will assist the Cook in meal prep and service, ensuring residents receive quality meals and care. You will help prepare and deliver food and trays and maintain kitchen cleanliness.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and ability to read, speak, and understand English. Experience with quantity food production and food safety is desirable, with physical ability to

Qualifications

• Reading English to follow directions and complete tasks.
• Written and oral communication skills are important.
• Knowledge of nutrition and food safety practices is preferred.
• Ability to read and apply tray cards requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver food and trays.
• Wash dishes and sanitize kitchen per health standards.
• Place prepared food on plates/trays per tray tickets.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and commitment to quality food service.
