Job summary

Dublin is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide for days and nights in food services. The role reports to the Cook and Dietary supervisor and involves learning routines, setting up meal trays, dishwashing, serving meals, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to read procedures and follow recipes. A food handler certificate is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read technical procedures.
• Ability to read and follow recipes.
• Ability to effectively present information to managers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Learn food service routines quickly.
• Set up meal trays.
• Strip down returned trays and start washing dishes.
• Assist with serving meals.
• Check and record chlorine concentration and water temp of the dishwashing machine.
• Observe dishwasher water temperatures during cycles.
• Operate dishwasher.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks.
• Sweep and mop kitchen.
• Carry out trash disposal.
• Store groceries safely and orderly.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation.
• Participate in orientation and training of dietary staff.
• Work cooperatively with personnel across departments.
