Vancrest Health Care Centers Inc. is looking for a Dietary Aide to support our dining program and ensure nutritious meals for residents. You will assist with meal prep support, coordinate with dietitians, and help maintain food-service procedures.

The role includes reviewing menus, processing diet changes, stocking supplies, and ensuring timely meals while working with nursing and dietary staff. Competitive wages and benefits are offered.

Responsabilités

• Reviewing menus prior to preparation of food.
• Inspecting special diet trays to assure they are correct.
• Submitting administrative forms and reports to the Director of Food Services.
• Coordinating dietary service with other departments as necessary.
• Working with the facility's Dietician and Dietetic Technician and other Supervisors and implementing changes.
• Ensuring dietary procedures follow established policies.
• Assisting in establishing production lines to ensure meals are prepared on time.
• Processing diet changes and new diets as received from Nursing Services and approved by the Director of Food Service.
• Performing dishwashing/cleaning and ensuring utensils are available for next meal.
• Inventorying and storing incoming food and supplies.

Dietary Aide Job Duties

• Reviewing menus prior to preparation of food.
• Inspecting special diet trays to assure they are correct.
• Performing administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, etc., and submitting to the Director of Food Services.
• Coordinating dietary service with other departments as necessary.
• Working with the facility's Dietician, Dietetic Technician and other Supervisors as necessary and implementing recommended changes as required.
• Assuring that all dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
• Assisting in establishing food service production line, etc., to assure that meals are prepared on time.
• Processing diet changes and new diets as received from Nursing Services and approved by the Director of Food Service.
• Performing dishwashing/cleaning procedures. Assuring that utensils, etc., are readily available for next meal.
• Assisting in inventorying and storing in-coming food, supplies, etc., as necessary.
