Job summary

The Plaza at Lubbock in Lubbock, TX is seeking a Nutrition Services - Dietary Aide (PRN) to assist the food service team in delivering a positive dining experience for residents. You will help ensure meals, snacks and hospitality items are prepared and served on time, while keeping the dining area clean and organized.

This role supports meals, snacks and hospitality across departments, working with nutrition staff to maintain quality and sanitation.

Qualifications

• Must have a food handlers’ card.
• Experience in food service preferred.
• Ability to communicate with residents, staff and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Safe Food Handling: follow guidelines, monitor temps, discard expired items, use gloves and hair restraints.
• Food Preparation: follow recipes, portion control, prep in advance, ensure quality and temperature.
• General Food Service Duties: serve meals, clean and sanitize, set up dining areas, assist other staff.
• Other duties as assigned by Nutrition Services Manager or cook.
