Job summary

Cascades at St. Anne in Seattle, WA, is seeking a PRN Dietary Aide to assist with meal preparation, tray assembly, and serving residents with respect and care.

You'll review dietary needs, follow recipes and safety practices, support daily kitchen operations, and participate in ongoing training to ensure high-quality, nourishing meals for residents in a compassionate team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, equivalent, or enrollment in current high school courses.
• Experience working in the kitchen of institutions that provide meals to large groups on a daily basis.
• Experience cooking in a Skilled Nursing Facility is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold meals and beverages according to menus, recipes, and dietary needs.
• Review tray cards for allergies, preferences, and special instructions.
• Assemble meal trays with correct dishware and adaptive equipment.
• Serve meals and assist with delivery to residents.
• Prepare and stock snack carts.
• Clean dishes, utensils, and food prep areas after use.
• Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
• Communicate respectfully with residents, staff, and visitors.
• Attend trainings/meetings and support additional assigned tasks.
