Job summary

Dodge County Hospital is seeking a Dietary Aide for PRN hours. The role involves assisting cooks, delivering patient meals, and maintaining cleanliness and safety in the kitchen. Shifts vary and every other weekend work may be required. This position is pool/per diem, with on-site duties at Dodge County Hospital in Minnesota.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food service or hospital kitchen is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assists cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed and provides cooks with needed items.
• Delivers and picks up patient meal trays in a courteous manner.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, or silverware.
• Stocks pantries and refrigerators.
• Follows safety procedures when operating all kitchen equipment. Ability to multi-task.
• Ensures daily strict adherence by kitchen staff of personal hygiene policies, practices, and standards.
• Performs other job duties as assigned.
