Job summary

White Acres Wellness & Rehabilitation is seeking a cook to prepare nutritious meals and supplements for residents in accordance with Federal, State and Corporate requirements.

You will perform duties safely and sanitize the kitchen while upholding the facility's standards. The role may involve supervising staff in the absence of the Director of Nutritional Services and attending required meetings and trainings.

Qualifications

• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Basic understanding of cleanliness, organization and safety.
• Prior food service and/or long‑term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritious, attractive meals and supplements for residents per requirements.
• Performs duties in a safe and sanitary manner.
• Supervises staff in the absence of the Director of Nutritional Services.

• Presents professional image to consumers through dress, behavior and speech.
