Job summary

FutureCare in Clinton, Maryland is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide/Porter to support our Food & Hospitality team in delivering nutritious meals to residents. You will help prepare hot and cold foods, serve meals, and maintain dining area cleanliness in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Under supervision, you will follow food safety policies, assist in tray delivery, and help with sanitation while providing courteous resident interactions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Healthcare experience in a facility is preferred.
• Excellent communication and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to stand 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods.
• Serve and deliver food to residents as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas as assigned.
• Properly store food utilizing knowledge of temperature requirements.
• Transport/deliver food/beverage items to assigned residents.
• Assist Lead Porter or other staff in lifting or transporting large utilities within the kitchen area.
• Load/operate dishwasher machine.
• Ensure proper temperature, chemical supplies, and clean water levels are maintained for proper sanitation.
