Job summary

FutureCare is seeking a Dietary Aide/Porter to support the Food & Hospitality Department in delivering nourishing meals and ensuring safe food handling for residents. Under the supervision of the Clinical Food Service Director, you will help with meal prep, service, sanitation, and proper storage.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, frontline experience in healthcare preferred, and strong communication in a fast-paced environment. Competitive pay and benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Healthcare experience in a facility preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods.
• Serve and deliver food to residents as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas as assigned.
• Properly store food utilizing knowledge of temperature requirements and spoilage.
• Transport/deliver food/beverage items to assigned residents.
• Assist Lead Porter or other staff in lifting or transporting large utilities within the kitchen area.
• Load/operate dishwasher machine.
• Ensure proper temperature, chemical supplies, and clean water levels are maintained for proper sanitation.
