Job summary

FutureCare is seeking a Dietary Aide/Porter to support the Food & Hospitality Department in our Baltimore facility. You will assist with food preparation, delivery to residents, and maintain dining area cleanliness, all while adhering to sanitation and safety policies.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Competitive pay and benefits are offered along with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous healthcare facility experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Courteous and friendly at all times.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Stand on feet for 8 hours or longer.
• Able to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Respectful and tactful interaction with residents and staff.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods.
• Serve and deliver food to residents as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas as assigned.
• Properly store food with correct temperature control.
• Transport/deliver food/beverage items to residents.
• Assist Lead Porter or staff with lifting or transporting large items.
• Load/operate dishwasher as needed.
• Ensure proper sanitation with temperature, chemicals, and water levels.
