Job summary

The Blossoms in Nashville, AR is seeking a Dietary Aide to support dietary operations, assist in serving meals, and ensure sanitary procedures are followed. You will work under supervision with the facility dietary manager and the corporate dietitian when needed.

Responsibilities include assisting in meal service, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting multiple departments to meet patient needs. On-the-job training is provided as part of ongoing staff development.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Administrative functions: supervise with dietary manager/supervisor, implement changes as required.
• Ensure dietary procedures follow established policies.
• Develop and maintain good rapport with inter-department staff.
• Create a warm, positive atmosphere and calm environment in the department.
• Participate in departmental studies and trainings as directed.
• Assist in serving meals and follow portion control procedures.
• Assist in daily/ scheduled cleaning and dishwashing tasks.
• Maintain sanitation, hygiene, and safe work areas.
• Deliver food carts/trays to designated areas and serve in dining room.
