Job summary

ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Eau Claire is opening December 2026 and seeks a Dietary Aide to support patient meals with focus on safety, efficiency, and accurate diet administration.

You will work under supervision in a brand-new facility, handling meal preparation, diet compliance, and sanitation while delivering compassionate service to patients, staff, and visitors. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of patient diets and safe food handling requirements.
• Proficient with basic computer tasks including data entry, email, and records management.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and/or pre-portions food for patient meals per menu and diet orders.
• Cleans and sanitizes food prep equipment and work area.
• Maintains dietary stock and assists with meal service.
• Operates dish machine and ensures sanitation standards.
• Keeps accurate records of patient diet information.
• Maintains safety and infection prevention standards.
