Job summary

SAK Management is seeking a Dietary Aide to support dietary operations in a healthcare facility. The role involves food service, meal assembly, and distribution following established policies and regulations.

The Dietary Aide will work under the supervision of the dietitian and Dietary Supervisor, assist with inventory and diet-related tasks, and ensure meals and snacks are delivered safely and promptly to residents.

Responsibilities

• Serves meals that are palatable and appetizing at designated meal times
• Sets up meal trays, food carts, dining room, etc.
• Assists in checking diet trays before distribution
• Assists in serving meals
• Prepares and delivers snacks, etc.
• Delivers food carts, trays to designated areas
• Executing diet spreadsheets
• Cleans work tables, meat blocks, refrigerators/freezers
• Washes and cleans utensils
• Works with the facility’s dietitian/Dietary Supervisor and implement changes
• Ensures that dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established policies
• Ensures that food and supplies for the next meal are readily available
• Assist in inventorying and storing incoming food, supplies, etc.
• Participates in and assists in departmental studies and projects as assigned or that may become necessary
• Other duties as assigned by the Dietary Supervisor
• Prepares food etc. in accordance with sanitary regulations and as well as with our established policies and procedures
