COX HEALTHCARE LTD in Owasso, Oklahoma is seeking a Dietary Aide to support patient meals and nourish residents. You will prepare trays, follow therapeutic diets, and deliver items to care units while keeping the kitchen and tray line clean and organized.

This position requires basic food production knowledge, good communication, and the ability to operate production equipment. Shifts include mornings and evenings; benefits include PTO, medical, dental, vision, and more.

Qualificações

• Ability to understand and follow recipes.
• Basic knowledge of quantity food production.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
• Ability to correctly use food production equipment

Responsabilidades

• Prepare food trays for general and therapeutic diets.
• Prepare and deliver items as requested by resident care units or residents.
• Maintain tray line in a clean, neat, and organized manner.
• Prepare special diet foods as necessary.
• Deliver food carts to patient care units. Return carts to kitchen at designated times.
• Load and oversee dishwashers and log and record wash/rinse temperatures.
• Wash specified items by hand. Example - Pots, pans, knives.
• Dispose of trash and garbage in appropriate manner.
• Put clean dishes and utensils away
• Mop floors as scheduled and as necessary.
• Clean walk-in refrigerators and storage areas. Maintain dry storage areas by logging temperatures daily and handling the unpacking, dating, and rotating of food and non-food supplies.
• Assist in preparing salads, desserts, and other nourishments.
• Performs special cleaning duties as assigned by the Dietary Supervisor
• Maintain good working relationship within the department and with other departments.
• Treat residents and guest with respect and dignity.
• Always observe infection prevention and control practices.
• Participate in departmental performance improvement activities.
• Perform all aspects of resident care in an environment that optimizes resident safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
