Responsibilities

• Comply with policies and procedures.
• Report abuse/neglect to supervisor.
• Treat residents, families, visitors, and staff with dignity and respect.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident/family information.
• Report to work on time and as scheduled.
• Ensure dietary procedures follow established policies.
• Assist in serving meals and pouring beverages.
• Prepare and serve between-meal nourishment snacks.
• Assist in daily cleaning duties per policies.
• Clean work tables, meat blocks, refrigerators, and storage areas.
• Sweep and mop floors as directed.
• Perform dishwashing/cleaning; keep utensils ready for next meal.
• Dispose of garbage; keep areas clean and safe.
• Assist cook when needed.
• Follow safety regulations at all times.
• Follow infection control policies during daily tasks.
• Report hazardous conditions/equipment to supervisor.
• Report accidents/incidents promptly.
• Wear protective clothing for infectious waste handling.
• Report missing or illegible labels or SDSs.
