Job summary

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services is seeking an experienced Dietary Aide. You will assist the cook, prepare foods, and ensure sanitary, safe, and pleasant dietary conditions for patients and others served by the Dietary Department.

You will follow planned menus, assist with meals and beverages, and help with dishwashing and cleaning tasks. The role requires neat appearance, English literacy, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read diet cards and understand dietary instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and work safely around equipment.
• Demonstrate neat appearance and good personal hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook on duty with non-cooking duties and some cooking tasks.
• Ensure sanitary, safe, and pleasant dietary conditions for patients.
• Follow planned menu and prepare beverages and snacks per recipes.
• Provide food service to residents and assist with tray cart delivery.
• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes and utensils.
• Clean and sanitize work areas; sweep and mop as needed.
• Assist with meals, drinks, supplements, and snacks; perform other duties as assigned.
