Job summary

PACS is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide in Perrysburg, Ohio to join our dietary team and help provide healthy, well-prepared meals in a clean environment. You will assist with meal trays, serve meals to residents, and help maintain a sanitary kitchen under the supervision of the cook and dietary supervisor.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to follow simple recipes and procedures, and strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Follow simple instructions, recipes and kitchen procedures.
• Basic math and reasoning skills for meal prep and inventory.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities are essential.
• Must be able to obtain a Food Handler’s Certificate with employer help.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up meal trays with care.
• Assist with food service and deliver meals to residents.
• Clean and sanitize dishware, surfaces and equipment.
• Operate the commercial dishwasher and monitor sanitization levels.
• Handle snacks and special dietary nourishments.
• Support the cook and dietary supervisor as needed.
