Job summary

Apple Rehab Guilford is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our caring team at the Guilford, CT location. The role focuses on assisting in meal preparation, maintaining dining areas, and engaging with residents to provide a pleasant dining experience.

Starting rate is $18.00 per hour with part-time shifts (3pm-7pm and 4pm-7pm). The facility offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth in a family-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to walk, bend, lift, push, pull, turn, stoop and stretch.
• Ability to unload and stock groceries and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read/write and follow instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in meal and snack preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness in dining areas.
• Engage with residents daily to enhance dining experience.
• Receive, organize and store supplies and food items.
• Adhere to infection control and sanitation procedures.
