Job summary

Apple Rehab's Ledgecrest Health Care Center in Berlin, CT, is seeking a Dietary Aide for 20 hours per week (12:30 PM–7:00 PM). You will assist with meal preparation and dining area cleanup, and help with stocking supplies while maintaining a clean, safe kitchen and dining environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to walk, bend, lift, push, pull, turn, stoop and stretch.
• Ability to unload and stock groceries on shelves of various heights and to lift large items up to 50lbs.
• Ability to write and record data, to read and follow oral and written instructions in English.
• Ability to remain calm and work efficiently in cases of emergency.
• Ability to communicate with residents, staff, family members in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal and snack preparation and dining area cleanup.
• Receive, rotate, and store supplies and food.
• Interact daily with residents and assist with daily living.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and sanitation of equipment.
• Follow infection control and safety regulations.
