Job summary

Golden Bell Senior Living is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in preparing healthy meals and ensuring residents receive appropriate foods based on dietary needs. You will coordinate with dieticians to report allergies or restrictions and help implement meal plans.

The role involves setting up dining areas, serving meals, delivering trays, cleaning stations, managing supplies, and supporting menu planning. Flexibility to work varied shifts is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a dietary aide.
• Further experience in customer service will be appreciated.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Skilled in preparing meals according to instructions.
• Apt in operating cookware, bakeware and cooking appliances.
• Friendly with good communication skills.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in food services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Discard leftovers and take out garbage.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods walking or standing.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and place up to 60 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, and wipe frequently.
• Must frequently immerse hands in water.
• Must be able to work in a hot and damp environment.
