Job summary

Split Rock Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in meal preparation and serving for residents. You will help the cook determine food quantities, perform tray line duties, and support daily operations ensuring dietary orders are followed.

Responsibilities include maintaining food safety, delivering meals, and aiding in emergency procedures as directed, while upholding HIPAA and resident privacy standards. A high school education is required.

Qualifications

• Education: High school education, equivalent.
• License/Certification: None.
• Equipment/Computer Software: Commercial kitchen, dining rooms, walk in refrigerators and freezers.
• Physical/Mental Demands: Walk long distances, and remain on her / his feet for long durations of time. Bend, squat, push, pull, reach, stretch and lift up to 50lbs. Speak, read and understand English. Able to tolerate cleaning chemicals with use of appropriate equipment.

• Cleans food service areas.
• Delivers meals to resident floors, dining rooms and resident bed rooms
• Performs server duties during events
• Assists in emergency procedures ie, code E, fire, disaster, and general health care emergencies. as directed.
• Follows code of conduct and ensures resident privacy and is compliant with HIPAA.
• Will perform other related duties as assigned.
