Job summary

Bethany Meadows – Brandon, SD is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide for evenings (4:00 PM – 7:30 PM) with every other weekend shifts. Pay ranges from $15.00 to $16.00 per hour, based on experience, plus weekend shift differential.

You'll assist with meal prep and service for residents, ensure accurate tray setup, and help maintain a clean, safe dining environment. Live up to our commitment to high-quality dining by following food safety standards and collaborating with the dietary team.

Qualifications

• Dependable with prompt and regular attendance.
• Friendly and respectful with residents and coworkers.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and follow food safety procedures.
• A genuine desire to provide excellent service to our residents.
• Previous food service or senior care experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and serving meals to residents.
• Set up resident trays and verify meals are served correctly.
• Deliver meals, snacks, beverages, and dietary supplements.
• Assist with providing a positive and welcoming dining experience.
• Wash dishes, utensils, carts, and food preparation equipment.
• Keep kitchen and dining areas clean, safe, and organized.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
• Safely handle and dispose of garbage and waste.
• Work together with the dietary team to provide excellent service to our residents.
