Job summary

All Saints Subacute is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team on a part-time basis. This position plays an important role in supporting meal service and ensuring our residents receive nutritious, appealing, and timely meals in a clean and welcoming environment.

Join our dietary team and contribute to a friendly, patient-centered dining service. The role includes assisting with meal preparation, serving residents, complying with dietary requirements,

Qualifications

• Previous dietary, food service, healthcare, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and dietary guidelines accurately.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety.
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and serving meals and beverages to residents
• Set up and clean dining areas before and after meals
• Deliver meals and trays to residents according to dietary requirements
• Follow residents' meal preferences, special diets, and food restrictions
• Assist with basic food preparation as directed by the Dietary Supervisor or Cook
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining, and food preparation areas
• Wash dishes, utensils, trays, and kitchen equipment
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Store food and supplies appropriately
• Assist the dietary team with maintaining an organized and efficient kitchen
• Provide friendly and respectful service to residents
