Job summary

Spring Oak Senior Living in Vineland, NJ is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to assist with meals, snacks, and dining experiences for residents. Shifts are 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m., with weekend availability required and pay at $15.92 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service, dietary, restaurant, healthcare, or senior living preferred.
• Experience in assisted living or nursing home setting is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Friendly, positive attitude with a desire to help others.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to assist residents with their mealtime needs.
• Weekend availability required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and serving meals, snacks, and beverages.
• Help create a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for residents.
• Assist residents with mealtime needs, including feeding and drinking assistance when needed.
• Follow dietary guidelines and special meal requests.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and dining environment.
• Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Work closely with the dietary team to ensure meals are prepared and served accurately and on time.
• Provide friendly, respectful, and compassionate service to residents and staff.
• Assist with food production and other kitchen duties as needed.
