Job summary

Cardinal Senior Living LLC is seeking a Dietary Aide for the East York, PA location on a part-time basis. The role includes assisting with dining services for residents and supporting food service operations in a personal care setting.

The position requires weekend and holiday availability on a rotating schedule, with a starting wage of $13.00 per hour and a 2nd shift from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for the entire shift.
• Food service or customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables and dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Serve meals under supervision of a dietary manager or cook.
• Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms.
• Take down dining areas and collect plates, glasses, etc.
• Discard leftovers and take out garbage.
• Clean food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware.

The starting pay for this position is $13.00 per hour. Dietary aides are responsible for:

• setting up tables and other dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order
• serve meals under the supervision of a dietary manager or cook
• deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms
• take down dining areas and collect plates, glasses etc.
• discard leftovers and take out garbage
• clean food stations
• wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware.

Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to Stand for Entire Shift
• Previous experience working with food or in customer service a plus
