We are seeking dependable and compassionate Dietary Aides to join our dietary team. This role supports meal service operations, ensuring residents receive nutritious meals in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. The position is part-time with pay range $14.25‑$15.25/hour.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Compassion for the geriatric population.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and distribute meal trays
• Assist with meal service and resident dining needs
• Wash dishes and operate dishwashing equipment
• Prepare snacks, nourishments, and beverages as assigned
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dining areas, and workstations
• Sweep, mop, and clean dietary areas
• Properly store food, supplies, and deliveries
• Follow food safety and infection control procedures
• Assist cooks and dietary leadership as needed
• Work cooperatively with nursing staff and other departments
• Maintain a positive and resident-focused attitude throughout each shift
