Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age and have reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Healthcare food service experience and compassion for residents.

Responsibilities

• Set up and distribute meal trays
• Assist with meal service and resident dining needs
• Wash dishes and operate dishwashing equipment
• Prepare snacks, nourishments, and beverages
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas
• Sweep, mop, and clean dietary areas
• Store food, supplies, and deliveries
• Follow food safety and infection control procedures
• Assist cooks and dietary leadership as needed
• Work cooperatively with nursing staff and other departments
• Maintain a positive, resident-focused attitude
