Job summary

Piedmont Post Acute in Piedmont, SC is hiring a Dietary Aide to assist in meal preparation, service, and dining operations for residents. You will work closely with the dietary team and cook to ensure nutritional needs are met while maintaining a clean, safe kitchen and dining area.

We offer a competitive hourly wage of $14-$15, full-time and part-time opportunities, benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO and 401(k), plus growth opportunities such as CNA school.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Reliable transportation required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Healthcare or food service experience preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain a Food Handler's Certification.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and distribute meal trays according to dietary guidelines.
• Assist with serving meals and beverages to residents.
• Clear trays and operate the dishwasher.
• Monitor and record dishwasher temperature and sanitation levels.
• Prepare snacks and nourishments.
• Clean kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain kitchen and dining areas.
• Store food and supplies in a safe and organized manner.
• Remove trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the shift.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Assist dietary team as needed to ensure smooth operations.
