Job summary

Mount Carmel Care Center in Lenox, MA is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to support dining room operations. One shift 7am–3pm and two shifts 3pm–7pm weekly, on-site in Berkshire County.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and can work independently or as part of a team while interacting with residents and families. The role emphasizes customer service, food handling, and sanitation, with opportunities to contribute to a compassionate, mission-driven facility.

• Occasional assistance with cold food preparation under the direction of the chef.

Come join us at Mount Carmel Care Center!We are aFaith-Based, Non-Profit, boutique-sized Long-Term Care facility (69 beds), nestled in the heart of the Berkshires. Twice voted \"Best of the Berkshires,\" we are sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm since 2013 and maintain a mission-based environment for our staff and residents.

We are looking to hire a Dietary Aide - Part-Time.

• 1 shift at 7am to 3pm; 2x shifts at 3pm to 7pm weekly.
• Mount Carmel Care Center is Berkshire County's only faith based skilled nursing facility.

Dietary Aide Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Work within a fast paced environment.
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of the team.
• Must be able to interact with elderly residents and their families.

Dietary Aide Job Summary:

• Greet residents as they enter the dining room.
• Provide assistance with selection of foods.
• Serve all food to resident’s requests.
• Set/Clear/cleaning tables.
• High level of social interaction with residents is expected.
• Occasional assistance with cold food preparation under the direction of the chef.
• Ensure proper sanitation of the kitchen and equipment.
