Job summary

Mount Carmel Care Center in Lenox, MA is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to assist in the dining room and kitchen. You will greet residents, help with food selection, serve meals, and maintain sanitation while interacting with residents and families in a compassionate, faith-based environment.

Shifts include 7am–3pm and 3pm–7pm weekly. High School diploma or equivalent is required; 1 year in food service is preferred. Flexible, team-oriented applicants are encouraged to apply.

• Work within a fast paced environment.
• Must be able to interact with elderly residents and their families.
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of the team.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents as they enter the dining room.
• Provide assistance with selection of foods.
• Serve all food to resident’s requests.
• Set/Clear/cleaning tables.
• High level of social interaction with residents is expected.
• Occasional assistance with cold food preparation under the direction of the chef.
• Ensure proper sanitation of the kitchen and equipment.

Come join us at Mount Carmel Care Center!We are aFaith-Based, Non-Profit, boutique-sized Long-Term Care facility (69 beds), nestled in the heart of the Berkshires. Twice voted \"Best of the Berkshires,\" we are sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm since 2013 and maintain a mission-based environment for our staff and residents.

We are looking to hire a Dietary Aide - Part-Time.

• 1 shift at 7am to 3pm; 2x shifts at 3pm to 7pm weekly.
• Mount Carmel Care Center is Berkshire County's only faith based skilled nursing facility.

Dietary Aide Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Work within a fast paced environment.
