Job summary

Oasis Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents, ensuring sanitary conditions in dining and kitchen areas. You will deliver dishes, follow safety standards, and maintain cleanliness while adhering to instructions.

The role requires reliability, customer-oriented service, and a strong work ethic. Shifts include 12PM-8PM and 4PM-8PM with weekend availability; compensation is $24.65 per hour.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a dietary aide (preferred).
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under supervision of dietary manager or cook.
• Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms.
• Takedown dining areas and collect plates and utensils.
• Discard leftovers and take out garbage.
• Clean food stations and wash dishes and cookware.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory.
• Assist in tracking expenses and menu planning.
• Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances.

Oasis Rehabilitation and Nursing has Part-time opportunities for qualified Dietary Aides.

Shifts available: 12PM-8PM, 4PM-8PM, weekend availability required

Our Dietary Aides prepare and serve food to our residents in our facility.

You will deliver dishes and ensure good sanitary conditions on the cooking and dining premises.

A Dietary Aide must be capable of preparing food following instructions while adhering to all safety and health standards. They must also be competent, conscientious, and customer-oriented.

The goal is to provide excellent food services by following instructions and standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables or other dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under the supervision of a dietary manager or cook
• Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms
• Takedown dining areas and collect plates, glasses, etc.
• Discard leftovers and take out garbage
• Clean food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory
• Assist in keeping track of expenses and menu planning
• Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances

Skills

• Proven experience as a dietary aide
• Further experience in customer service will be appreciated

• Skilled in preparing meals according to instructions
• Apt in operating cookware, bakeware and cooking appliances
