Job summary

The Lutheran Home is seeking Part-time Aides to support operations in our health center kitchen, delivering friendly, respectful service to residents, families, and staff.

Duties include meal service, maintaining a clean kitchen and dining area, dishwashing, food receiving and portioning, and assisting with regular and modified diets.

Hours typical 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM with weekend shifts; minimum age 16; equal opportunity employer.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal service, including food running, bussing tables, and support residents with their dining needs.
• Help maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining area.
• Wash dishes by hand or using the dishwasher.
• Assist with food receiving, storage, labeling, and rotation.
• Sort and remove trash and put in the designated areas.
• Prepare, portion, and serve regular and modified diets.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, infection control, and safety guidelines.
• Provide care and respectful service to resident, families, and coworkers.
