Job summary

The Lutheran Home in Missouri is seeking part-time Dietary Aides to join our health center kitchen. You will help with meal service, support residents with dining, and uphold our values of Service, Excellence, Dignity, Fulfillment, Grace, and Stewardship.

This role involves maintaining a clean kitchen, washing dishes, assisting with food receiving and storage, and serving regular and modified diets while following safety guidelines. Shift is 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM, with weekend opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal service, including food running, bussing tables, and support residents with their dining needs.
• Help maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining area.

• Assist with food receiving, storage, labeling, and rotation.
• Sort and remove trash and put in the designated areas.
• Prepare, portion, and serve regular and modified diets.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, infection control, and safety guidelines.
• Provide care and respectful service to resident, families, and coworkers.

This position supports the daily operations of the kitchen and meal services for our healthcare community while providing friendly, respectful service to residents, families, and coworkers while upholding our values of Service, Excellence, Dignity, Fulfillment, Grace, and Stewardship.
