Job summary

PaRC in Houston, TX is seeking a Food Service Technician to support dining services for patients, staff and guests. The role covers dishwashing, food prep, serving and janitorial duties, with emphasis on exemplary customer service and safe food handling.

You will follow HACCP and sanitation procedures, assist with meal service and maintain clean, organized serving areas. On-call shifts include early mornings and weekends to meet patient needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Previous work experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Dishwashing and sanitation duties throughout the shift.
• Prepare and serve meals to patients, staff and guests; keep serving lines stocked and organized.
• Stock, rotate and restock food items; ensure correct storage and temperatures.
• Assist with setup for functions and events as needed.
