Northwest Specialty Hospital in Reno, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to support patient meal service under the Food & Nutrition Services Director.
You will prep and deliver patient meals according to diet orders, follow safety procedures, and assist with trayline and nourishment areas while upholding high cleanliness standards.
Northwest Specialty Hospital, an extension of Northern Nevada Medical Center, brings expanded services to a new building located at 6225 Sharlands Ave. in Northwest Reno. The facility will offer acute rehabilitation and adult behavioral health services.
Our acute rehabilitation services include occupational, speech, and physical therapy for adults recovering from stroke, injury, or another disabling condition. We offer advanced treatment for a wide range of conditions including stroke, brain injury, amputation, neurological disorders, major multiple traumas and spinal cord and back injuries. All patients will experience private rooms, have access to a newly renovated therapy gym, and personalized care from our qualified staff.
The adult behavioral health services offered is an expansion to our current 50 and older program at NNMC. The new program will offer behavioral health services to all adults 18 years and older. The department is managed through a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, CNAs, social workers, and therapists. Patients will experience an individualized care plan, inclusive of individual and family therapy, activities, medication management, and a 24-hour secure, compassionate environment.
