Job summary

Powerlink is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide to join our Foodservice Operations team. You will support culinary staff, assist with meal preparation, production control, and inventory management to ensure timely, accurate meals for residents in long-term care facilities.

The role requires good customer service, the ability to follow therapeutic diets, flexibility to work weekends and holidays, and a commitment to safety and sanitation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of customer service experience.
• Minimum one year of food service experience.
• Must speak/read/write English fluently.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays with flexible hours.
• Background in safety and sanitation compliance.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist dietary cooks as needed and support food preparation.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area; follow sanitation practices.
• Assist with inventory control and production planning.
• Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines and therapeutic diets.
• Perform general kitchen duties including cleanup and sanitation.
