Job summary

Aventura Health Group in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to support residents with nutritious meals and attentive service. You will help prepare and serve meals, maintain impeccable sanitation, and follow safety standards.

As part of a collaborative kitchen team, you will set up dining areas, assist in meal preparation, deliver meals on schedule, and help with cleanup, inventory, and equipment upkeep.

Qualifications

• Experience as a dietary aide and ability to follow recipes and service standards.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines for kitchen and dining areas.
• Ability to prepare meals as directed and operate common kitchen appliances.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under guidance of dietary manager or cook, following safety standards.
• Deliver dishes and trays to rooms on time.
• Assist in post-meal cleanup and clearing dining areas.
• Dispose of leftovers and take out garbage to maintain hygiene.
• Keep food stations clean and wash dishes and utensils.
• Monitor ingredient stock levels and help maintain inventory.
• Contribute to upkeep of kitchen equipment and appliances.
