Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will assist with food preparation, serve meals according to dietary needs, and maintain clean and safe dining areas.

A positive, service-oriented approach is essential to support residents and staff. The role may require lifting, standing, and following COVID-19 or state vaccination policies where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or kitchen environment preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lb, push/pull up to 50 lb, stand/walk for extended periods.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification required by state/county law.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portions.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
