Job summary

Paradigm Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide for our skilled nursing facility in Houston. You will set up dining areas, assist with meal prep under the dietary manager, and deliver meals to residents on schedule.

Responsibilities include keeping dining spaces clean, stocking supplies, and ensuring diets are followed. Strong customer service and the ability to communicate with residents and staff are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions.
• Food handler certification per state requirements (ServeSafe preferred).
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under the direction of the dietary manager and cook.
• Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms.
• Clear dining areas and collect plates, glasses, dishes, trash, etc.
• Discard leftovers and take out garbage.
• Clean food preparation areas, kitchen, dishes, and equipment.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory as directed.
• Ensure food is provided to residents according to orders or diet instructions.
• Communicate and interact effectively with residents, visitors, families, staff, and supervisors.
