Job summary

Excelcare Health Management is seeking a caring Dietary Aide to join the team at ExcelCare At Dover. You will assist in meal preparation, serve residents, and help maintain a clean, safe dining environment in a residential care setting.

You will follow dietary guidelines, deliver trays, and support special dietary needs while collaborating with dietary and nursing staff. This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a compassionate approach to resident wellness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or healthcare setting is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and serving meals according to dietary guidelines.
• Deliver trays to resident rooms and dining areas.
• Follow portion control and sanitation procedures.
• Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, and dishware.
• Assist with food storage and inventory rotation.
• Provide snacks and hydration as directed.
• Support special dietary needs and resident preferences.
• Work collaboratively with dietary and nursing staff.
