Job summary

Excelcare Health Management seeks a reliable Dietary Aide to join Excel Care Wilmington in Wilmington, DE. You will assist in meal preparation, serving, tray delivery, and sanitation to support resident nutrition and safety.

Responsibilities include portion control, inventory rotation, and collaboration with dietary and nursing staff. Must be 18+, able to lift 25 lbs, and have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or healthcare setting is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Must be 18 and older.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and serving meals according to dietary guidelines
• Deliver trays to resident rooms and dining areas
• Follow portion control and sanitation procedures
• Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, and dishware
• Assist with food storage and inventory rotation
• Provide snacks and hydration as directed
• Support special dietary needs and resident preferences
• Work collaboratively with dietary and nursing staff
