Job summary

Providence Living Center in Topeka, KS is hiring a full-time and part-time Dietary Aide to join our caring team. You will help prepare and serve meals to residents, set up trays, and support dietary needs according to menus and diet orders.

This position offers competitive hourly pay of $13.50 to $15.50 plus a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability coverage, FSA, 401(k), PTO, CEU reimbursement, and daily pay options for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic, understand measurements, and follow written and oral instructions.
• No experience required. A willingness to learn is needed.
• Solid communication skills and attention to detail; able to multitask.
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate resident needs.
• Ability to read, write and speak English well enough to interact with residents, vendors and team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and serving meals to residents according to menus and diet orders.
• Set up trays, deliver meals, and handle snack items for events.
• Ensure food items meet quality and temperature standards; wash dishes as needed.
• Maintain safety and sanitary conditions; follow policies and procedures.
